Maureen Denise McCormick was born on 5 August 1956, in Woodland Hills California the youngest and sole daughter of Richard McCormick and Irene McCormick. The mother of the child was home and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick is always a fan of dancing, singing and performing puppet shows. In the year she turned six, McCormick was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 200 auditioned kids, played the oldest of three double-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) which starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show lasted five years. McCormick said in her 2008 memoir Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice she almost lost her virginity during the fifth season with Barry Williams, her co-star as well as her on-screen brother.
